Social Justice and the Americas

About This Wiki Project

Page history last edited by Tom Wren 2 yrs ago

This wiki project is sponsored by the Philosophy Department of Loyola University Chicago, in collaboration with several other institutions and individuals, including the Universidad de Antonio Ruiz de Montoya (Peru), the UNESCO office of Mexico, Instituto Tecnologico y Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (Mexico), and Universidad de Monterrey (Mexico).

The purpose of this project is to create a  network for philosophers, educationists, and other scholars from North, Central, and South America who are actively involved in research about social justice issues in the Americas. The wiki is bilingual (even though some of the participants are not), but most of the pages are in English since that is the language of the host institution. Other scholars, including those from other parts of the world who are engaged in research relevant to the topic of this wiki, are invited to inquire about becoming active members of our network. A list of participants can be found on our Participants page.

A more formal statement of goals and objectives can be found on our Mission Statement page. [under construction]
